My home-made CNC router - first test of X+Y axes

Yes!!! It works!

At last I tested my home-made CNC machine.
It is not ready yet, but it is time to test X and Y moving.

There is no Z axis yet. but No spindle yet.
But I can test the machine, like a plotter - just using pencil instead of milling cutter.

And I see that it works!
At last! I'm really happy!

CNC machine for hobby robotics

Hi,
When we worked on our previous project (www.RoboHobby.com), we found that it would be good to have small home-made CNC machine.
www.RoboHobby.com is project for hobby robotics.
As a rule as a robot's body we used just small toy car.
Usually it is factory-made chip toy car which you can buy everywhere - just shop around.
But what if we want to create something non-standard?
What if we want to create 6-legs hexapod robot, where we can get small details, like legs, etc.?
